Hi, I’m Marcus, a dedicated and experienced piano teacher with over 35 years of playing experience and 20 years of professional teaching. I hold a BMus (Hons) degree in music, along with performance diplomas from Trinity College London (ATCL and LTCL), and I’m currently preparing for the prestigious FRSM — the highest-level piano qualification in the world.

I began my piano journey young, achieving Grade 8 while still in primary school, and have never looked back. Today, I specialise in teaching classical, jazz, and popular music, helping students of all ages find joy, creativity, and confidence through music.

In addition to my private teaching studio, I work as a Lead Teacher for Kent Music, where I mentor and support some of the 100 music tutors across the region, ensuring high teaching standards through training and quality assurance.

My lessons are student-focused, modern, and adaptable — whether you're preparing for a graded exam, returning to music after a break, or learning for pure enjoyment. I’ve taught hundreds of students with a 100% exam pass rate, and I’m fully DBS certified for your peace of mind

When I’m not teaching, I compose, record, and release original music — with several albums featured in HMV and Virgin Megastores worldwide.
